Take these weights
Off my eyes
Lift the promise
From my lies
Rid the darkness
From the light

Oh, how you remind me
Of the angel I need
Why can’t you comfort
Me when I bleed
As I remain inert
How we recede

So many times I cried
How many nights
Must I lie and wait
Reach your heights
Till the shadows waste
Your lovely ways
PLEASE COMFORT ME

Fear slowly grows
Beneath my toes
No place to run away
PLEASE COMFORT ME

My need exceeds my want
Grip your hand and smile
I have not lost my mind
If you hold me awhile
Remember these hard times
I’ll be versatile

Oh, angel why can’t you see
How my life will cease
I can’t take this anymore
Of riding the breeze
Why do you ignore
My freaking pleas
PLEASE COMFORT ME

The hole only grows
Beneath my toes
No reason to love anyway

Very emotional write. The yearning is deeply felt.

Don't let that hole grow, hug yourself and breathe in divine love ...

Love,
Margherita
