Of what and where im dreaming, It always haunts me so, As a long loved part of me, Has gone but left her glow, Her flow of grace and elegance, That once was loud and clear, Was quickly taken away from me, And now she's not so near, What ever god looks over us, Has taken her away, My days were full of sunshine, And then they turned to gray, What pain thats left behind, All of us will know, The feelings we have to deal with, When letting someone go, They will always be in your heart, And also in your dreams, The future isn't always gray, Or as dismal as it seems, When I think of all she's done for me, Throughout these twenty years, Even though she's not here now, She wipes away my tears, I know she's up there watching me, Sometimes it not so clear, But when Im worried or afraid, She takes away my fear, You've left your glow behind you, And now I realize why, Its so that I am not alone, So thanks Sophie, good bye. This was dedicatied to my friend Sophie (4th march 1987-22 feb 2007) sadly she could not stand the pressures of life, but because of her I am a better person. |
