The Movie on My Door |

There is a faint shadow, on the back of my bedroom door. As I lay here, a flickering movement in the shadow catches my eye. It's spectacular, I know what it is. A personal home movie, but one not caught on tape. Merely captured at this rare moment, and archived in my mind. It's a movie of the squirrel, who lives in my back yard. He is getting ready for the winter, tail high and twitching, eating his breakfast. A never forgotten small piece of an absolute beautiful moment in time, captured in a shadow on the back of my door and stored in my mind. |

I love those movies, too! Or sometimes there is the treat of the still life, a group of people in conversation perhaps, cast through the rosebushes...how they follow the light as it moves. Wonderful treasure! |

Thank you for your response. I too agree that there are treasures in the still life as well. Beauty has many forms. lisa |
