We write from the heart and passion's express It's sad but each day does deliver much less It's dreaming and hoping that helps us go on Not truths that we meet and ponder upon I believe it's the dreaming through shows that we see That lets us imagine how life it should be But reality pokes and again we all wake To rise and to live with decisions we make We write from the heart and feelings express But some remain quiet and further depress So hope and a prayer were born for reprieve To let us be thankful for all we receive Love is our wanting, but so far away Expression, our writings that slowly decay For time casts its layer of dust and the past And only some memories of once tend to last We write more than speak, that’s how we express The lines in-between are for many to guess And somehow we’re granted reprieve from our pain Till life again tramples and tests us again This writing’s the blessing that I have received The words have more freedom than I’d of believed I write from the heart, then naked my soul To find through the sharing I start to feel whole |
