Last words, unaware of surroundings, I Love You. Too many times I should have been nicer, told you what you meant to me. Conversations during the final days, made it all clear and we understood. That we loved eachother so much, that mere words couldn't express. My rock, my friend, my mother, you were all these and so much more. The tiny church yard where you lay, is never far from my mind. For when I last visited you, I left you a gift. Very near your heart, is the cross you gave me. I wanted you to have a piece of me, so close to you so you would know. That you were my mother and best friend, and we will never be apart. For as you watch over me, I watch over you as well. Thank you for making me strong, and loving me no matter what. |

This tender poem is all the more meaningful, having lost my own mother ~ and father (four weeks apart)~ last year. I believe our mothers knew how much we loved them when they were still with us in body, but they truly know the depth of our love now that they are in spirit. ![]() Love & Everlasting Life, Linda ![]() |

Dear Lisa, with this sensitive, poignant dedication to your Mother you touched me deeply. I agree with your thoughts ... we are always close and care for each other, even if on different levels of existence. Beautiful! Love, Margherita ![]() |
