As your harsh words reverberate through the hallways in my mind,
I’m sparked with a question, Deep within me.
Do you even care? Or are you just here because you have to be.
I’m at the top of your “to do list.” But never accomplished;
You were the one who brought me here. Yet, you can’t grasp it.
I won’t be happy till all of this is figured out.
If you want to leave me here, Let me be free.
Be my guest. You’re not helping either way.
Can I just breathe easy? If only just for one day?
