In the eyes of a broken soul In place of a heart where there is now an empty hole Lies a greedy little creature It is the master of evil: a suicidal preacher There are endless tears of despair And the silent secret of wanting to share It let’s stinging tears run inside and out Confusing them without a doubt, fear and anger it unleashes out It then creeps up your spine and with its little voice says “commit suicide” They consume the advice to rid themselves of pain or a shameful side they want to hide They cut themselves from wrist to wrist Hoping they did it right so that they no longer exist They consume every pill in sight Because they have no strength to carry on the unknowing strategic fight They tie a rope to anything sturdy To wipe their existence before or after the age of thirty It doesn’t let them see how valuable they are It doesn’t let them know that happiness is not that far Depression is a psychological game Either you win or the greedy little creature gets all the fame! Welcome to Pip! This is a highly dramatic write, being the theme you choose extremely delicate. More than a game, depression is an illness I think and if people are helped adequately they get a chance to exit the black tunnels. It doesn’t let them see how valuable they are It doesn’t let them know that happiness is not that far May everybody be able to hear the inner voice of love. Love, Margherita |
