 * Autumn leaves dance me * Like beauty queens who abhor abdication you cling to the branches of avenue trees playing happily with the gracious breeze unaware of the proximity of separation. Sudden deep wind moans stop your breath and though you still are a joy for the eyes you know that the time is ripe for goodbyes and you get ready to dance your last dance. In awe I walk under this vibrant shower of gold Is it the divine breath who choreographs your fall? You soar, you glide, you skip, you dance and bounce gathering with a crackling sound on the ground. I will remember your colours and your passion I will join the wind’s voice and sing a requiem in gratitude for the beauty of what has been and in anticipation of mysteries still to unveil. Autumn leaves dance me through transformation everything, believe me, including you and me, carries the everlasting seed of life deep within and after drifting through momentary oblivion creation will project us once again into the Light for we are Love, you and me, bound to be reborn for we are Love and Love has no beginning and no end it just is for now and evermore! * |

What a captivating opening! "Like beauty queens who abhor abdication" smiling here, tenacious, ain't they? "Autumn leaves dance me through transformation" and may I find that graceful acceptance too This is lovely, and it's only rarely that I get to view such a sight--much less walk through the downpour of the "dance floor". If I MUST leave New Orleans, one day, I want to go someplace where the leaves put on an annual dance revue. This leaves me smiling--as does my first glimpse of you in your pic--do know that you look very much like my MOM? (As if I need more reason to hug you!)  |
