Willow whisperings waken me
from a shallow slumber,
releasing melancholy memories.

Your captivating laugh and smile
set the tone for all we did together.
Your presence still shadows me daily,
urging me to keep moving forward
in harmony with nature’s offerings,
as seasonal changes direct my steps
away from sadness and despair.

With each step,
I know you are still here,
within the willow whisperings.

Kacy, there is one thing that you can be assured of, when Mysteria reads this poem about her departed friend Willow, she will be flooded with emotion ~ as well as appreciation of both your talent and your compassionate heart.

Love to you, Gentle Poetess,

Linda

Well, m'dear, if a tear or two were to fall, there would undoubtedly be a smile in each one of them!

a fine 'write!'

I really like the line:

"keep moving forward
in harmony with nature’s offerings"

Applause!

Kacy, thank you so very much for thinking of me and a truly incredible lady, and friend.  There is not a single day goes by she is not with me in almost every thought.  This may inspire me to write a few more of our storie.  Thanks again, I will put this into the journal I keep of her.

As a matter of fact, fall was her favorite season, and is mine as well, so we both appreciate this more than you know.
Nature's offering are plentiful and pleasing to the eye here in B.C. this time of year.

Kacy, when I read this the first time, I thought that you had met and spent time with Mysteria and I thought it was an exquisitely beautiful Kacy poem.  When I got to the end, I wasn't sure any more (not about the poem's excellence - hee hee, but about it being about Mysteria!), as it seemed that the subject was no longer on earth, and I knew that Mysteria is (and hopefully for a VERY long time yet!).  Then I thought that maybe one of you had moved out of visiting range.  However, when I read the replies, I understood completely and then appreciated even more of its excellent artistry.  And then, boy oh boy, the tears poured!  What a beautiful reply from Mysteria as well.  What a wonderful friend you are to all of us, Kacy.

Thanks, ladies!
Owlie, I have met our lady Mysteria.
I truly hope she posts another (or reposts) poem about Willow, so that others may 'know' Willow, and Mysteria's beautiful poetry!

Thanks for the reply, Kacy.  It must be good to live in the same country as most Pipters and to be able to meet many.

I have had the privilege and pleasure of spending a wonderful day with Honeybunch when she came to Durban from Johannesburg.

The others whom I know, I know only by poetry, responses and emails.
