Blue feathers laugh in crevices where the cornflowers grow,
On a path of navy night, the world turning slow.

Waltzing to a whispering sea faceted in light,
azure arms softly croon of finger tip delight,

Remember ancient melodies strumming heart's design,
wordless turquoise memories float a shadowed mind.

Where denim is the question, the answer, satin hue,
pockets full of falling stars, caught in diamond blue.

... and February has never lowered her eyes in a more lovely ~ and 'coquetish' ~ manner.

Spell-binding and deliciously surreal.

Your ink is high octane! lol

Love to you, Klassy One!

This is MUSIC!

And the reader can dance along ... on the waves of emotion you create.

Awesome.

Marge,   So happy to see you ...and that you  enjoyed this.  The graphics that should go with this trees silhouetted against a night sea and illumined clouds in shades of blue with falling stars.  Perfect for a coastie like me...

Huggles!

Lee J, I'm so sorry for your recent loss. I'd been away for quite some time, but I always look for you when I can log in.

Your poetry is always stunning, and I'm deligted to leave you smiling with my flights of fancy.   Thank you.     ~ Karen

Hmm!  High Octane?  Like in combustible?  LOL  Thanks, Sweetie!  Those falling stars are pretty hot.     His poem spoke of "eyes lower than the second moon,"  thus my title.

love you, too

We should dance at every opportunity!  Even if it's only in words for me.  Poetry often feels like music to me, but I've realized in my non-poetic family that it takes another poet to hear it.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. *sun* KL

Lindsay....   A little magic of color and light.  I was just thinking how close the stars seem sometimes and how little I dare to wish on one.  So when I do, I get carried away.  I'm glad you liked it.  Back to earth!....

Thank you.
