Down the rusted gullies our fortunes often role
Every step without rhythm, each spirit a black hole
Lackluster colours abound and no artists to paint
All perceptions are tiring and painfully quaint

~ Sombre, yet ever so descriptive! Your 'pen-brush' shows that you, yourself, are an "artist". Perhaps, if you would like to see a  brighter picture of the world, you could do so using your own artistic talents!
