Sing to me oh lonesome loon upon the water’s edge as minnows flit and dance the tune from neath the burly hedge. A place to call, to sing one’s soul in wait the harvest moon and leave behind the drummer’s roll in want a gallant croon. For when the sea does come to crest ashore the ocean’s eave another mate shall be once blessed and shout to buy his leave. As all will say and twice repeat the story of a lass who pranced the decks on orchid feet and slippers made of glass. For was the night upon the moon at full and silver laced When all was right to share a spoon with lemon deftly chased And when the skies were filled with stars that shimmered tauntingly A loon would cry and trill at Mars as sailors caught the lee. |

And when the skies were filled with stars that shimmered tauntingly A loon would cry and trill at Mars as sailors caught the lee. Perfectly penned, dear Barry. Soo romantic. Love, Margherita ![]() |

Hauntingly beautiful imagery in this romantic tale of the sea and men who love her. Are you a sailor, Magnus? You write the lore as if you are--with such indcredible romance and legend coming from your pen. I loved this! ~ Karen |
