Silence awaken
Spirit taken
life forsaken
Still awaiting
to see truth
survive the lies
of all mankind
Save yourself
leave them behind
care for nothing
except your own life
Leave love to die
forget your heart
allow nothing inside
Remember your pain
endure the dismay
of losing your soul
by walking away
Tread the path
follow the open road
fall on your back
become a stone
For once you feel
the earth beneath
your body will sink
to the ground underneath
You will lose yourself
and become nothing
as you fade away
to the light approaching
while darkness clouds
your every emotion

Sounds like a very painful life. But then, I think we all spend days, even weeks, at that place sometimes.
