sharing our secrets under quilts
Brilliant colors splashing
over bodies sprawling
across each other
A jigsaw puzzle of legs and arms

Nose to nose conversations
Fingers tracing
accentuating thought
punctuating with each stroke
While snow drifts silently
on window sills strewn
with last summer’s sunflower seeds

Together sharing dreams, desires
while sipping a lazy Saturday morning
mixed with warm coffee and milk
