Breathe in the air Release your fears Remember the truth Both day and night Collapse into you Arise from the ash Take up your arms Fight while you can Die where you stand When it all ends know Nothing comes from war. [This message has been edited by nevermore93 (10-31-2007 08:04 PM).] |

Nothing comes from war. It's great that you have already clarity about this at your young age. May you diffuse your awareness always like this. Love, Margherita |

Nothing comes from war? How 'bout the USA? Is our country not the product of something called the Revolutionary War? Does the number 1776 mean anything to you? How about 1789 or 1812? How about 12/07/41? Are you enjoying your freedom as a result of our country fighting to preserve a way of life for you? Many men and women died fighting in wars to preserve your freedom and your rights under the Bill of Rights which are a product of the "first war" on this continent. I happen to think freedom is "something." It even preserves your right to say nothing comes from war. |

I happen to be a firm believr in the fact that war brought freedom and has preserved the USA many times. This poem mostly describs the Vietnam war, and how iraq is slowly becoming another vietnam |
