The witch’s broomstick

The night was calm,
Not a goon in sight.
The little old witch,
Flew into the night.

She held it tight,
As the broom flew high.
She said a curse,
“Cursing you little brats to die”

She cackled and danced
Into the sky.
But her old little broom
Failed to fly.

She fell and she fell,
Down to the ground.
The little old broom
Made not a puff or sound.

The witch was furious,
Didn’t know what to do.
She turned on the tele
Because there was no one to BOO!

“Wait!” screamed the witch.
She got off of her seat.
The tele shouted out,
“This broom will put the fly in your feet!”

“300 horse power,
With a touch of leather.
The new broom 3000,
Is light as a feather.

The witch screamed “YEAH”,
As she phoned right in.
“Yes I want one of those.
Is it straight as a pin?”

Happy witch got the broom,
As they both flew off.
She felt the leather.
Oh dear, how soft.

The broom ran out of gas,
No broom station in sight.
The witch screamed out loud,
As she fell down in fright.

“That’s it”, screamed the witch.
“I am done with this broom!
With one more fall,
I will be meeting my doom!”

So the witch went back,
To the little old broom.
It may not go fast.
Not even a VROOM!

The night was calm.
Not a goon in sight.
With her fingers crossed,
She flew into the night.

So the witch went back,
To the little old broom.

But at least with that
she could clean her room!

Now the witch goes out
with a cyclone vac
Dyson guarantees
that she'll always get back!

I like it and halloween is lucky to have a poem like this for celebration.

I don't really know what halloween is all about, but I think I would like to watch some of the ceremonies done for celebration. Looks like fun. hehe
