WHEN PEOPLE TURN UP THEIR NOSES
AND LOOK MY WAY

ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME
IS WHAT I BELIEVE
BESIDES HES THE ONLY ONE I CAN TRUST AND
HES ALWAYS ON MY TEAM

ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME
IS WHAT IVE BEEN TOLD
BECAUSE GOD IS THE ONE
WHO DECIDES WHERE EVERYONE GOES

i've learned that anyone can judge you, but god (if you believe in god) probably has the only opinion that matters.

like i said, anyone can judge you, but it's teh opinions you let in that affect you. so kep that filter on and your head held high.

very defiant post. i can dig.
i usually hate all caps, but i think it was a wonderful part of your expression in this piece.

I detect an undercurrent of anger in your powerful words. It appears to me that you have felt unduly judged by others. I do agree that God is our supreme judge ~ and it is what HE thinks that counts the most.

He CAN maybe, but he DOES NOT. That's what I believe, He loves His offspring and taught us not to judge, so that we would not be judged. Jesus said so. We all have our beliefs of course.

But we also have rules to live by ... the best is "Do unto others what you would want them to do unto you".

You have done well to write this from your heart. Answers will be given, no doubt. He always lets us know, but we need to learn to listen.

So many of us have found it a duty to judge others according to our standards as we believe we are spotless but we are not, far from that and I hope your poem brings us that awareness
