. Slowly One by one Without comment The leaves fall Through still air Perhaps The last Dragonfly Equally silent Shimmers from withered Reed to reed The smoke From a pipe Rises up Dissipates Then drifts away Like the sunlight Quiet That feels no need It is over What else is there to say . |
