dancing with the stars

dancing with the stars
I understand how ancients saw the music,
but in the morning I will forget

all dancing is to navigate by shades of dark

my compass blows in circles
and the rocks move strangely
underneath the waves

the shore is made of rocks

they are strangely moved, engaged
and this sea vertical, abstruse
the moon a shore perhaps but

even at night there are mirages

Ed...The sky was dancing with the stars last night...I heard it stumble against my tree.

"all dancing is to navigate by shades of dark"  Interesting..I never thought of it that way...thanks for that.

To be out at sea at night and feel the touch of the stars is a wondrous experience.
I love the way you describe this feeling. Our perceptivity is exceptionally deep under these circumstances.
I also enjoyed Martie's poetic remark.
Beautiful.

Love,
Margherita

Ed darling man as always your writing rocks. And this is one of those that echoes with a melody, the kind of melody that sings within. I love the images, darling man absolutely love it.

Hi, Ed! "dancing with the stars" ~ Catchy title!

"even at night there are mirages" ~ and I appreciated the beauty of the one that you have painted here.

Even the dregs of some dreams are enough to make a difference... and whether the setting is sand or water... or stars... reading your words is navigating to pure treasure. *S*
