I Now Walk With The Wind
~*Marge Tindal*~

I, with heady direction, walk into the wind
sensing the all of me blowing about
Outside in … inside out
I walk into the wind,
in contemplation of doubt,
that I may find the me
I’ve been living without
The inker of thoughts
from this muddle of mind
Where is the wind that used to be kind?
Steadying my step, I turn,
the wind now moves me in earnest yearn
once more to find,
the wind that knew me … when the wind blew me
gently from behind~
Ah, how easy now is my gait
to find that the ink of contemplate
has patiently waited for me to see
the way is now easier,
softer...breezier
I now walk with the wind~

Marge, there is something so special about this poem for me. As a wind lover, and "ink thinker" myself, I can appreciate your words on so many levels.

May the winds in your life, be gentle, yet invigorating, ones!

I must pop in here to thank my friend, Bruce Adams, for giving me a nudge of inspiration for this piece~

Having read many of your posts over the years, I have to tell you that this is indeed my favorite of all time.  I love poems about the wind, as they always take my mind off to the wind and Willow.

It takes so long to learn to walk with the wind.  This is a great piece of work, Marge.

Grand title!

And,

“Where is the wind that used to be kind?(!)”

…is quite an important question!

I am particularly fond of:

“I, with heady direction, walk into the wind
sensing the all of me blowing about
Outside in … inside out
I walk into the wind,
in contemplation of doubt,
that I may find the me
I’ve been living without…”

Applause!

[I am most glad if an 'inspirational nudge'
from this magnificent season did indeed
  transmit through my humble penning!]

Marge...Lovely poem dear poetess.

Sometime we do have to walk against the wind to get where we are going, but once there we can walk with the wind and let ourselves be taken to that place we dream of...Paul

Dear Marge, while reading and deeply enjoying your poem I thought, my oh my, one of her very best. And then I read also the comments and I am happy to see that most of our friends here have felt the same way.

A keeper, to enjoy over and over again.

Wind is the world's breath, thus it is LIFE.

Simply wonderful.

Love and hugs.

OhDearFriends~
How I thank you for letting me share this windy walk with you all~

Most of my life I have felt the gentle wind of push move me along ... sometimes it has been necessary to lean into the wind and try to get to where I was going~

But the sheer beauty of it all has been in the knowledge that the wind moves me the best when I let it ~
