Some words about my lovely French friend who is sick of living in Paris... I would gladly swap with her! RDB

Marie Chantal...
Drops by to say 'bonjour'
She wears large round glasses
And tee shirts with slogans
That aren't quite true
Her face always carries a smile
She is loud and funny
She is soft and sad
She says she wants to leave Paris
She says she needs the mountains
To help her breathe
I think... she just needs some love
I think... her woman strength will see her thru

She is a french woman after all!

Ah yes...at least one in Paris is itching to get out...and then there will be a little more room for all those desiring to get in...but perhaps all she needs is a week in the mountains, and she will miss her Paris...James

Roniece, I can picture Marie Chantal as though she were sitting across from ~ thanks to your descriptive writing. I can even see the longing in her face ~ mind you, her expressive eyes are hidden by those big round glasses! lol

I do so enjoy reading your memoirs of France and your friends.

thank you all for your lovely comments, I'm still suffering from PPD (post paris depression!)... it's nice that I can at least write about my friends there.. thank you again... RDB

Oh Roniece Sydney is not a bad spot but if you really want a change why not come down to Melbourne, it's better than Paris and definately more friendly. Nice post Roniece
