There's a Wild Sky Over the Mountains |

There's a wild sky over the mountains As a stormy day gives way to night. Nature has created a striking collage Of bold, gray strokes and shafts of light, Piles of white clouds and patches of blue, Framed by a rainbow the angels drew. There's a wild sky over the mountains, I'm in awe of this beautiful view, And I feel a sense of excitement, For the world seems fresh and new. Or is it only a memory Of a world I used to know When the mountains and sky Looked much the same A very long time ago.
