Sweet bliss of an autumn’s morn When crisp air meets the golden east Beneath the icy dew, a frosted treat The reds and browns are born Lazy, heavy days and thoughts forlorn Give rise to the season of feast A dazzling array of nature’s peace And there into my calm adorn A simple desire to entreat Recall a sweeter day, absent fear Till all the better stars align Imagine I walk on silver feet Into all the space that I hold dear With some majestic joy I dine |
