The Dream dealer is selling you illusions Pretending they will set you free As he paints a pretty picture of A better place to be Saying you've no need to worry There is nothing to be lost Whilst all the while behind that smile He conceals the cost If you drop that 'E' His idea of free May come as quite a shock When they insert the final screw That will contain you Forever in a box |

This was written for someone who was at the trying new experiences stage, I was trying to point out the long term problem of the short term highs on offer.... Thanks for the responses John |

The poem may be cynical but I think that most of us have experienced this feeling at one time or another. The main thing is that we cannot dwell there too long. |
