much like the coolness of midnight incense, stirring the curtains with ancestial dew smiling the heart a grand buffet of golden aged windows a world apart from man an uphill stream of green mountains clean and crisp where subterranean woods reflect and sing tracing passages heaved and sighed soltice winter nights alas, leading me north like a coat with lining borrowing daylight dreams laden with longs sighs of quintessence shade a hundred thousand miles of moonlight drinking warm winter bathrobes a radical simplification in an open place theater mine strewn fields with grain this beautiful longing oh how I love this predetermined spiritual weather which I partake with raised eyebrows being hoisted on air on wind nothing can touch me but spiritual bliss a lovely home this was written for a friend, who can see and feel things with her eyes closed. Love ya kiddo... Lee J. |

Lee, I loved the warm, spiritual feel of your words. I could have veritably quoted each line as one of my favourites. "a world apart from man an uphill stream of green mountains clean and crisp where subterranean woods reflect and sing" ~ That is my kind of heaven on Earth! ![]() "being hoisted on air on wind nothing can touch me but spiritual bliss a lovely home" ~ Thanks! I needed that right about now! I have been missing you! ~ and even more so when you pop in and post a poetic gem like this! Love to you! Linda ![]() |

A fine ‘write’! I am especially fond of: “like the coolness of midnight incense, stirring the curtains”; “a world apart from man an uphill stream of green mountains clean and crisp where subterranean woods reflect and sing”; “daylight dreams laden with longs sighs of quintessence shade”; “a hundred thousand miles of moonlight(!); AND: “predetermined spiritual weather(!)” Applause!! |

Lee, I am sure your friend won't mind me wrapping myself up in the luxurious winter bathrobe you have created, as you are so generous that there is enough of it for all of us! It is summer here in South Africa, but today is a cool, grey, windy day and for various reasons, the perfect day for me to enjoy the indulgence. - Owl |
