As I age I become more aware that I know nothing important More importantly the knowledge I do have seems to erode daily Now I say where have you been lately It’s shady The way I let important things be When I know that through Darwin’s evolutionary theory Nature will take and erase me For I am spacey And constantly wrong, see I’m all too angry for any sort of revolutionary Unless it’s for something ridiculously crazy Like quitting your job and living off perceivably lesser humanity Like I said its crazy The way I think about Tinas and Stacys Unhappily ever after is taking more shape for me While it may be coming slowly It’s showing up in my windshield ever quickly |

hmmm, sounds a great deal like me... very insightful and purposeful poem...humble, yet, the intellectual side is very admirable. Enjoyed. |
