A ‘poet’ is… the ocean in a mirage… the ‘voice’ of a snowflake in a blizzard… the moon’s quicksilver image in a lake… the spectral shadow in a broken mirror… a raindrop that longs to move a mountain… a glimpse of eternity spinning in a moment… a comet-rider in the cosmic void… a dream-drifter dancing boldly to oblivion!... |

You know, Bruce, I hesitate to say (but am thinking it) that this is my most favourite of your poems that I have read to date. The reason that I hesitate, is that I seem either to be saying it or just thinking it of so many of the poets that I have been reading lately. I don't know whether everyone is simultaneously getting even better than they were, or whether I am just "high" on being back home at PIP again, but either way, this is really a perfect gem! - Owl |

Normally, I shun repetition and listing, but you apply it flawlessly. As usual, extremely well put! Pops |

Flawless. My favorite line: "a glimpse of eternity spinning in a moment…" |

...about a poet, by a POET! To quote said POET (YOU), "v. serious, long-sustained applause!!" Bruce, this truly is one of my favourite descriptions on being a poet. Love & Poet Light, Linda |
