I sit down and stare at a blank sheet of paper trying hard to focus on my heart as my pen begins to flow my are thoughts taken over by emotion - my mind is now in overload . the ink becomes smeared with every dropping tear scared to face my own life's journey i stop myself before my pen reveals to much and tell myself nothing is too tuff to overcome the thought of losing makes me fight without the defeat who would i be |

we learn more about ourselves and who we are (or could be) when we fail, IMO. Good write though. The feeling of being penned up and restrained really comes through. But we never know our limits until we're tested. |

Poetry can be very revealing without revealing very personal situations. I think you have the soul of a poet. That's the main ingredient. Some of the things I try to concentrate on when I write are, proof reading, spelling and polishing. Ida |
