PEACE OF MIND Peace of mind is a wondrous thing, A value that cannot be assessed, For when dark clouds loom it still remains The passport to happiness. The lack of having peace of mind Has broken many a heart, For when the mind is not at peace That’s when the heartaches start. Peace of mind is sought by all But acheived by just a few, I’m glad that I’ve got peace of mind, Have you? |

Hi Lindsay my friend, I don't think I will ever have that peace of mind, though sometimes I may. A great piece of writing here again Lindsay and one that I enjoyed my friend, thank you for sharing today, take care. Rick |

Peace of mind is indeed a wonderful thing "The peace of God which is beyond mans understanding" is a real place I have been there just once or twice A sublime state of acceptance arthur |

You are so right about the importance of peace of mind. It is something that I have very often (sometimes several times a day), but unfortunately only for short periods. However, in my opinion, it is something that is not attained without the wisdom of its worth, and the continuous (failing "continuous", then "repeated") attempts to attain it and hold it and protect it and to bring it to as many others as one can. In my humble opinion, the ability to want it is a gift from God, and its attainment is a prize He awards. - Owl |

Lindsay, I have had moments in my life where I only had a 'piece' of my mind! ~ and the rest of it was in pieces! Having peace of mind is a heavenly state of being and you have written of this very well. Love & Inner Peace, Linda |
