Rest heart Sleep soul A safe haven Soft landing Inhale deeply Heartbeats Sweet serenity Just for a moment Tears cleanse the soul Painting our souls new The fire that burns within Letting go of the blue Can't stop thinking The past we can't erase Must take our time Not do things in haste Internal strength Resides in a place deep within Hand outstretched Betrayal or friend? Should have said Would have done Time changes everything Love's come undone "Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away" |
