Precipitation Blues

Why won’t it just stop raining?
The world is going mad
While some are hot and burning
We are wet cold and sad
I blame it on the boffins
The educated race
They can build atomic bombs
Send rockets up to space
But as for simple H2O
They haven’t got a clue
Along with all our governments
They don’t know what to do
