Mr. Magoo Mr. Magoo How do you do? Have a seat here beside me, There's room for two. He walked on the grass, in his cowboy boots. Said he didn't like blacktop or dandelion roots. I spoke of the weather, the sun and the wind. When I finished my recital, he looked at me and grinned. He didn't say much, as I recall. But in his snakeskin boots, he looked big and tall. He didn't turn back, as he walked away. Didn't say howdy, or have a nice day. But I felt a connection, with Mr. Magoo. When he sat down beside me, there was room for two. |

Seems that even to a closed, silent man like Magoo (none the less intriguing) your own open attitude can make a difference. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling about the world, and hope! Cheers Pops |

I loved this, kind of a "there and gone" type of deal. |

You make me smile with this one. I am glad that there is room for two and I like the simplicity of this poem, but it makes me think. Thank you for sharing. Alison |
