I swear by all my troubles near
And far beyond my dreams, pretend
I’m headed home
To where the wild ones come, crashing
To where hopes come limping in

What sort of man sorts it out
Why would he care
beyond those creeping shadows
Beyond all doubt

And then,
I dreamed you came into sight

And I began to swear by all my troubles near
And far beyond those dreams that bend
truth into prism light
to which I cannot stare

I fell into a fresh pool of water
Cold and clear
Saw a message circle round
familiar
A closer look and soon, I believe

undoing
everything
