The Present Tomorrow is the future Yesterday’s the past But the present is the moment That eternally will last You can live for your tomorrows You can stay within your past But you’re living in the present And the present’s going to last The things you do tomorrow And those done yesterday Are all done in the present That you live along the way You can’t avoid the present You can’t escape it’s claim For both History and Future Are just tenses of it’s name If your living for the moment Then all time belongs to you So be sure you use it wisely For it stays your whole life through Ivor G Davies The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last. |

Hi Ivor! I like this...poems about time fascinate me. "The shadow by my finger cast Divides the future from the past Beyomd its unreturning line The vanished time...no longer thine" 1st verse of an anonymous poem...inscribed on a sundial. Good huh? |

Thank you all for taking the 'time' to give me feedback on this. As can be seen by my signature, time fascinates me also. As you read this response every passing word falls into the past with the future waiting to be read, which will also become the past. There is ONLY the moment.... Ivor |
