Far Away Together These windblown caves Where I scurry hope as winter food A home for my heart Truss and timber sticks Diagonal tongues that groove tight Warmed by a good fire If not for mid February, I could sleep Until the sound of cool water stirred me A good book of exotic techniques For sledding on satin sheets That curls my mouth in permanent moon Throwing snowballs by the spoonful At the mirror of your smile I could stay, far away, forever If not for the loud voice of silence, I could be Tempted by the tundra, smug a mug of steaming tea Calling angels to the earth, to watch their wings Making candles as the darkness lightens many things I could stay, just this way, forever I could stay, far away, together Copyright Kkh 2/14/07 |

Oh Rara....this is so lovely!!! You have a real poetic technique....quite different somehow... yet enthralling. Congratulations! Do write more It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness. |

this gave me chills...why? Becuase it is so unique, seductive in an upper-echelon sort of way...magnificantly painting touches of the mystic... operating outside of the parameters of logic, that old black magic called love... Excellent |
