too many hours in the lab or just the sure monotany of having what he's had. Repetitious scrutiny becomes predictability and then there was the maddening frustration of her constant sag of shoulders that defied a rub and arms that ached the lack of hug tears which formed an ocean's lathe the endlessness of yearning's crave Overwhelming "I love you" erred becoming need--it hurts words that went unheard were screamed terms of wrath insanity all for naught, this waste of ink-- writing pain too lyrically I guess it is uninteresting pathos (parenthetically) weary of the poetry, I wrote my love to death. * * * Credited inspiration:Sonic Warfare: the Logistics of Affection by the academic Steve Goodman traces a history of sonic warfare, from biblical times to the present. It samples minor events, scientific discoveries and technological innovations, demonstrating that the drive to use sound as a weapon is not new, and that innovations in sonic weaponry are often the result of a warped but highly developed form of creativity. |

Outstanding write, Ser! Over the past couple of years, I've read up on that topic, too....but not the historical part of it....just the more recent uses and technology. The trumpets probably did bring the walls of Jerihco down. "I wrote my love to death" -- what an ending! WOW! *hugs*....jojo |

a richly expressive petal to the metal word arobics...in upscale knowledge containing a picture filled with twists and turns...orchestrating great writes with much thought, and giving the reader, even much more to think about... I think Thomas Mann would love reading you |

"I wrote my love to death" Infra sound or ultrasound as inspiration, the sound of this one is melancholy music to my ears, and if this is in fact a swan song, then I would say it was born of creativity of the soul. Ivor |

I did it again.  Sheesh. I tell myself, I say "self? You are not gonna write poetry anymore." And then I write another poem.  Okay. Let me try this: "Self? You are not going to write that novel." Now. I'll let ya'll know how things turn out.  Thanks for tolerating my madness--and gee, I wonder if I blare Joni Mitchell at full volume...? Naw. He's already nuts. whispering to serenity's self..psst.... Do not,I repeat, do not tempt serenity to put down her pen. Unless of course you are really listening and know she is needful of defiance and is using you as an excuse to go against you and rebel, as she is so good at doing, and will really start that book. martyjo |
