I seem to always be waiting not sure exactly what for. The past continues to haunt though leaving traces of what was for more. It's snowing somewhere, here almost. The flakes misting high in the air. I'm waiting to know what today brings while the streets seem to me to be fair. It's a game between time and the weather. Or the whether or not the storm comes. Reporters have nothing to lose when they are wrong, while I twiddle my thumbs. If I leave now I'm caught in the middle. If I stay I may be late in the rush. No matter the turn out on this day. It will end in snow, ice or worse: slush. M *just waiting for the school closings...due to the timing of this storm which is just starting. "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
