Persistently Gentle My lips kiss your mind Tempting open parted exhale Longing to be softly nimble Affinity to explore sovereign details of yes This innate sense of discovery Recognition of sameness and entropy Probing my fingers slowly between the thoughts Seeking vision, in the waters of an aching river All that holds me here is defined in my own will Tracing the plunging neckline of chance Unlacing the eyelets of restlessness, vigorously Releasing to the sun, pink blossoms My hand to the throbbing earth for compass Speaking to the pleasantries of wind and wanderer There I lay beside the water, eager to drink Compelled in the drizzle of your fingers Persistently gentle Copyright Kkh 2/10/07 |

"My hand to the throbbing earth for compass Speaking to the pleasantries of wind and wanderer There I lay beside the water, eager to drink Compelled in the drizzle of your fingers Persistently gentle" this entire write is beautiful, but this last stanza, in my humble opinion, is just outstanding...truly awe inspiring... |
