inspired by Huan Yi conjured words, not wellsprings impaled on minds lackluster the soul-spring dries to powder spread like salt on Carthage shores inspiration dries out, then dies out and words become vehicles of mercenary terms, not mercy dripping from honey pots of grace o my soul, sing of restlessness if restlessness brings life sing of the sorrow of joy and the joy of sorrow meet life with vetted blessedness write not right words if thy soul thrives not scribe not the scripted tales of others ploys waste not mind-drifts on fallow ground choreograph a song for thy ear and thine alone and joyfully sing the august anthem to none other repeating the chorus slowly, solely to thyself |

write not right words if thy soul thrives not ..."scribe not the scripted tales of others ploys waste not mind-drifts on fallow ground choreograph a song for thy ear and thine alone and joyfully sing the august anthem to none other repeating the chorus slowly, solely to thyself" I set this out, not because it was my favorite part...for I found the entire write striking... I set this out...to sing too. WOW! |
