You don't know but I told a white lie yesterday Words hit the air and before I knew were turning grey And they turned to black before the day was through. What possessed me to say something that was never true? Those white words were the worst lie my tongue ever threw Sorry but I really didn't mean it when I said that I love you. Three small words that are not real Two lonely people in an unlit room With one white lie I cannot kill And now you've gone so very still... I see it's not a lie you want to kill. "They will plunder all your dreams |

Wow what a predicament. Saying I Love You without knwing is up there in my list of things not to say. Liked the poem |

OOOOps! Not good to let something so important turn into a lie. Right? Could have some hurtful consequences, I'm afraid. Hope it turned out okay for the person you told it to. But, like Dixie said, everyone has done it, even if it was before we knew what real love is. Hugs, Ethel |

so much for "words will never hurt me"...as someone earlier said...do not envy your predicament...the words of your write here, however, are good...thank you for sharing |
