(because somehow I always fall the for math guys rather than the poets) English and Math I love writing It is my passion My communication You hate it Find it confusing Enjoy it little You love math Technical problem solving Nothing left to chance I can't stand it Find in it no logic What's wrong with chance I'd rather write Express my thoughts It's my way of speaking You'd rather speak Use verbal technique Easier to express self You can't spell Or is it the keyboard Letters all jumbled up Somehow I understand What you're trying to say Laughing softly and teasing We are night and day English and math Emotional and technical Perhaps the fight To co-exist as friends Is already lost Maybe the challenge Worth the pain and tears The friendship worth the risk "The only way to learn to fly is to spread your wings and jump." |

This could be a poem, (in translation), from one Chinese to another during the Tang Dynasty. It has the same way. John |
