                    if i had've known

to be the headlliner of your show

    i'd rap to you better than Kurtis Blow

i would've started rhyming the moment i stood

           in front of your succulent toes

with better timing

i wouldn't have to ponder which one of your elbows

                     is the prettiest

and you wouldn't have to wander

                          the earth

without knowing that our past adventures of mountain climbing gave birth

                     to the wittiest

attempts at verbal miming

                   you've ever seen
