Eversong

Eversong would be your name
echoing 'cross soul and brain.
Leaving trails of honey-glow,
top the fields, where memories grow.

A future deemed blessed in joy,
If patience we both employ.
Of this, I can not be wrong.
With love, you are my Eversong.

For nights are weary alone.
Empty heart cold as stone.
And days are stretched far too long,
When spent apart from Eversong.

So fitting is this first name,
for spirit kind, temper tame.
Man of passion, kindled long.
Draws forth a breathless, Eversong!
