Her Love Would Be Mine

To get to her heart
we spent some time apart.
A time to let love know
that we wanted it to grow,
to make up its own mind,
and if love would be so kind
it would embrace our hearts,
and my love would be hers
and her love would be mine.
Her love would be mine.
