There is no perhaps in what might have been No return to that I’ve learned To be the crucible that defines my thoughts And separates chaff from churned Strident is as strident does (to gump-ify the phrase) Clamoring tautly against the ropes That delineate my gaze Into that which I’m permitted to suppose By those who know they know and yet refuse to leave Me to my own owned thoughts of what I do believe |

Loved the metaphor and word play in this write. We, as humans, truly own but a few precious things...among these treasures our faith, our thoughts and dreams, and our actions. Deserving of an encore...I'll be back. ![]() |

I keep trying to pick a line or two that I like best....but heck, I like 'em all! A personal statement maybe, but it's one that a LOT of us should be brave enough to make. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |
