 My love is a fire that burns bright for a while and then, as an ember, grows cold. The countless mem'ries, alone, are unchanged, as with strident passion, rove bold. As lovers are gifted, my gifts are full nil. I wander a wearisome journey. I hunt and I search, that my cup overfill - that I may joust, yet, one other tourney. Oh prithee fair damsel, abide yet a while! My old list of mem'ries doth wane. I bid thee to kindle the flame in bold style, else my mem'ry be, once more, my bane. Poetry is just the evidence of life. |

Thank you all so much for your comments. The reason why i post here is because there is great poets, and i like to be in the middle of that also to read, learn and listen. People here truly have a heart of gold |
