it really doesn’t matter it really doesn’t matter just like what he’s saying, but still I’d rather steal glances at you look at me, look for me I know it wouldn’t happen I know it wouldn’t happen somehow that’s my guilt even though it’s my defense I think she wants to tame you. you keep me staring you keep me staring when you never look back I can’t stop trying; I like you like this. not wild but unbridled so much strength, but I wouldn’t expect you to protect me not broken but real, not untouched I love your eyes even when they are turned away I admire you. I watch, hesitant I envy, know I could never be like you I answer, questions you wouldn’t ask you don’t know, I don’t know why- I’m selfish. she watches, expectant she envies, not you but those who could have you she asks, you answer in the words you choose. she wants to tame you, I leave you free to watch you, selfish- at least she asks for what she would take; at least she gives you a chance to say no. ...it's always sudden... |
