Tonight I am watching the sky
regretting
all the shooting stars
I’ve missed

remembering
a young me
laughing away
secret wishes
in false bravery

to find myself here
years and years later

realizing
those wishes…

are lost
in space

forever…

Yes, some of my wishes and hopes and desires seem to be lost in space...but I have new ones...sometimes I realize that my old wishes were not so wise...but they were my wishes...some I am happy that they didn't come true...some I regret and wish they had come true...James
