         All That Truly ‘Matters’

At the sunburned end of restless days
in fine surrender to the summer wind,
rapt-elusive memories sail
  a starry moon-tide sea…
on fleeting dreams that melt
in the twilight rain of tumultuous
  silence,
as the rare, magnificent wilderness
‘speaks’ in wordless wonder...
of all that truly ‘matters’
to the lonely, lucid soul!

"rapt-elusive memories sail
  a starry moon-tide sea…"

Indeed they do, poet, especially upon such a fine word wave.

Bruce ~

You are a geologist and a poet,
and your left and right brains show it!

Your gray matter has the perfect balance of yin and yang.

This poem is exceptional!

Loving hug,

Linda
