FORK AND PORK The devil often prods his fork In my butt like a piece of pork To watch my action of display For him to go or him to stay He is illusions master mind There’s nothing he can’t work or find But payment is his evil goal For just a snip of your soul There is no end to shape or size But beware you are the prize His mirror shows forever’s time But surely is a pit of lime He offers you a freedoms reign But freedom comes to naught but pain And long as time is in the mix You know the end a bag of tricks So live the life you’re meant to live And give the most that you can give |

"So live the life you’re meant to live And give the most that you can give" thank you lovie And when they call me crazy (again) I will tell them that I have permission from Seymour Tabin! (They won't know what the heck I'm talking about--but...shrug?) WE know. It's so good to see more Tabin! *squeeze you tight* |

Dealing with the devil never comes without a price...and the game is always rigged in his favor. That fork of his always is a pitch...(think I may have spelled that last word wrong!) ~ Karen |

Well, that devil sure knows how to pull those strings now and again. I like the visual of getting literally prodded, lol. Your closing as always, is a pure message Sy. Indeed, we need to live our lives and give the most we can. It's a journey and a learning experience. Always a challenge. Lucky are we, when our journey crosses paths and intertwines with someone as wonderful as you. PS ... I loved Karen's "see more Tabin" line, lol Best wishes and big hugs, /Kit |

Exactamondo! That's why I aim to keep my butt from being bitten by the Devil! I'm putting my money on the Big Guy upstairs! Loved the title! I dig your kind of rye, I mean "wry", humour! lol Love you, T-Man! EA |

This was such a good poem. I enjoyed the flow and the meaning. I loved the title too. Great job. Dee as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |
